The project will demine 2.534 ha of forest and forest land in the Mura-Drava Regional Park and Kopački rit Nature Park. The negative consequences of mine pollution will be rehabilitated through the restoration of forests and valuable natural habitats, renovation and construction of forest firefighting infrastructure and educational infrastructure. The implementation of education will increase awareness of mine risk and biodiversity, while the revitalization study and the establishment of a monitoring system will contribute to the preservation of good water status and the waters of the dependent ecosystems in the project area.
