Naturavita at the 9th Symposium Kopački rit yesterday, today, tomorrow

The symposium with international participation Kopački rit yesterday, today, tomorrow was held for the ninth year, but this year, due to extraordinary circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic, it was organized in virtual reality, by publishing recorded oral presentations and a virtual poster section on the Nature park Kopački rit website. https://pp-kopacki-rit/simpozij/

Symposium was organized by: Public Institution Nature park Kopački rit, Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, Faculty of Education, Department of Biology and Department of Chemistry, which are member units of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University Osijek and Public institution Agency for Management of Protected Natural Values in Osijek – baranja County. Two international associations: the Danube River Network of Protected Areas (DANUBEPARKS) and the Balkan Environmental Association (B.E.N.A.) assisted international support to the organization of the  symposium.

Symposium schedule delivered 63 presentations including 12 orals and 51 poster presentations.

Authors and co-authors oral and poster presentations are representatives of 47 various educational, scientific, public and healthcare institution, institutes, public enterprises, companies and professionals and scientific societies from Croatia and abroad

Although the symposium focuses on biodiversity, ecology and the state of the environment in the Kopački rit Nature Park, it also promotes a broader multidisciplinary approach to addressing topics from education, history, linguistics and sustainable development.

The Naturavita project team participated in a symposium with two poster presentations Restoration of forests and forest land through the Naturavita project and Biological monitoring for the purpose of revitalization of aquatic ecosystems of the Kopački rit Nature Park as part of the Naturavita project.
